Product Information of Yamaha TransAcoustic Guitar LSTA VT
The Yamaha LSTA VT is a TransAcoustic guitar that operates without the need for external amplification. This is part of our collection of Yamaha TransAcoustic series.
Yamaha’s new TransAcoustic guitar delivers the sensation of playing in a rich, live room without needing external amplification or effects—just the guitar itself. This is achieved through an actuator mounted on the inner surface of the guitar’s back, which vibrates in response to the strings. These vibrations are transferred to the guitar body and the surrounding air, creating genuine reverb and chorus effects from within.
The guitar features three simple knobs for adjusting the effect levels and lineout volume. Yamaha designed the controls to be compact, minimizing the size of the holes in the body to reduce acoustic sound loss.
- Reverb Control (Room / Hall)
- Chorus Control
- TA Switch / Line Out Volume Control
Features:
- The body is an all-solid guitar based on the L-series.
- A modified non-scalloped bracing design retains the L-series’ characteristic bright tone while enhancing the low end.
- Yamaha’s exclusive A.R.E. process treatments give the top a rich, vintage quality tone, making it sound as if it has been played for years from the very first moment.
- Designed with a focus on sound quality, the guitar produces effects that feel pure and natural.
- Straighter neck taper and hand-rolled fingerboard edges ensure comfortable playability for extended periods.
- The 5-ply neck, made of rosewood and mahogany with a double-action adjustable rod, provides a strong, stable structure that resists warping.
- The newly designed battery box is integrated into the end-pin jack, reducing the number of holes in the body and minimizing acoustic sound loss. Connect a cable from the jack to a PA or amp to use it as an acoustic-electric guitar.
