Growing up in a musical family Moe learned a lot about rhythm and singing. Soon he developed a passion for guitar. At the age of twelve he started to take guitar lessons from a reputable teacher, Bahman Nasri. Soon he mastered playing guitar and at the age of 20 Moe started to teach guitar in Saraye Honar Music Academy, in Tehran. At the age of 23 he moved to Spain in search of continuing his education in music. He studied jazz guitar with master Felix Santos, a very well known artist in Madrid, and studied solfeo and music theory at the conservatory of Madrid. At the age of 27 he moved to Toronto and studied jazz music in Humber, during which he started to build his own performing band and teaching guitar privately. He graduated from Humber in 92 and moved to Vancouver. Since then he has been teaching guitar, jazz, blues, harmony, bass guitar and ukulele. Moe has performed on numerous events and concerts in Vancouver and played alongside with different bands and singers. Moe continues to follow his passion to teach guitar and bring joy to as many people as he can.
